No Wolmer's pressure - Reynolds

Vassell Reynolds

Having turned back 'tough' ISSA/Flow Walker Cup challengers Jamaica College and Hydel High, coach Vassell Reynolds remains buoyed that Wolmer's Boys have enough fire power and motivation to get by red-hot DaCosta Cup quarter-finalists Port Antonio High today, when they clash in the Flow Super Cup.

The game will get underway at Sabina Park at 4:00 p.m.

"We lost fire power upfront, but we have Alphanso Godden (7 goals), who is a leading goal scorer; the other guys who partner him need to pick up their performance.

We know that we have a lot of work to do in front of goal, so we are confident of ourselves and the performance that we can put out there," Reynolds pointed out.

Pressure

Wolmer's is the competition's meanest team, conceding only two goals in all competitions, while remaining unbeaten from nine games overall this season - drawing once with St Jago.

"We are not under any pressure, but we think we have as good a chance as anybody in all the competitions, and so we are confident of ourselves and the performance that we can put out there," Reynolds said ahead of today's clash.

While Wolmer's are still unbeaten at this stage, and into the Walker Cup finals, Port Antonio have won all their second-round games: 2-1 over Dinthill, 1-0 against Islington, and 3-0 over Brown's Town, respectively.
