The deceased are Janiel Howell, 18, a sixth-form student of Vere Technical High School, and her 23-year-old sister, Jody Bryan. The two were found dead in a gully in the Raymonds area with several stabs wounds. According to Rohan Smith, a sibling of the deceased females, the sisters were last seen alive about 6 p.m. on Saturday evening, when both left home to go to a nearby shop, via a bushy shortcut. Chop up However, when they didn't return home during the course of the night, their mother, assuming that her daughters may have stayed over at Smith's house, went in search of them. "When my mother see 9 o'clock come this morning and she still don't see them, she come round a my house to look for them, and that is when she see the two of them chop up and stab up dead in the gully," Smith said.
