King Dreamz Entertainment and Conscious Minds Records, two enterprising entities from Orlando, Florida have joined forces to release one of the hottest dancehall projects, the 'Beach Vybz' rhythm.

The project features 19 hot tracks comprising established as well as up-and-coming artistes from Jamaica and around the world.

Mixed elements

"The riddim came about from an idea and concept to gain more traction on radio. It has a great dancehall feel, but if you listen carefully, we injected a lot of soca elements into it. From the Congo drums to the tempo, everything about this production was designed for a more crossover and marketable appeal," said Ajani Williams of King Dreamz Entertainment.

King Dreamz Entertainment consists of Williams, recording artistes NF and Famous Twenty. Main principals involved in Conscious Minds Records include Thomas Jenkins III and Soul Jah Bless.

"Getting the artistes involved on this project wasn't difficult. Everyone loved the beat of the riddim and the whole party vibe. Once we said this was the radio sound we were looking for, a lot of the artistes agreed to come on board," Williams explained.

Williams said the artistes featured on the project were from around the world.

"We have Jamaican artistes on the project, but we also have people like Brucho from Kenya, Dennis the Mennis and Ryan J are from the Virgin Islands and Koddy is a Japanese girl. It was a marketing move to showcase that reggae and dancehall are worldwide global music genres," Williams added.
