D'Angel's LIFE & RELATIONSHIP |
|||||
![]()
![]() D'Angel Welcome back my peeps to another exciting week on Real Talk, where we discuss Real Issues with Real people. I've always heard that D'Angel is a good cook and right now, I think she should change her name from Michelle to 'Mi-chef'. The Real Talk crew invaded her home earlier this week, and she prepared rice and peas and chicken, bwoy Mi-chef, yuh put yuh foot in it. Anyway, over lunch D'Angel answered questions on music, motherhood and relationships. Like I always say, you will not get everything here, so be sure to check out the full interview on the STAR's website or on the STAR's YouTube channel. Let's get to it. Reneé: What kind of mother are you? I am a hands-on mommy. I am a very bubbly mom. I am playful. I'm strict-ish, not as strict as my mom. Growing up, me used to get beating, my son don't get no beating. I do time out; I do the grounded kind of thing. I don't put my hands on him. I don't hit my child, so is a different kind of parenting that compared to when I was growing up. Reneé: Do you ever miss being married to Beenie Man? Wow. Sometimes I reflect on things and say what if things were done differently, what if I had done things much slower and not rush into things, what would've happened today? I just think that everything is ordained and whatever happened is supposed to happen and I've moved on from that. Nothing lasts forever only salvation, good one too. The only thing I would say was for us to raise our child together. That's the only thing I wanted differently. But we are still raising him together even though we are not together. Reneé: What's the relationship between you and Bounty Killer like now? We are on a good level. We have matured and grown from certain things. I wish him nothing but the best and all the success. We are not enemies. He's not somebody I would see on the road and not acknowledge. Reneé: Where has D'Angel been? Well, I've just been back from my North American tour. It has been amazing. I went to several states, Philadelphia, New Jersey, New York, Orlando, all over the place. It's like people were so hungry for D'Angel and hungry for the music. This is where we leave you for this week. Remember you can see the full interview on the STAR's website. Until next week, keep it real! Please click here to watch video |
