Gevano dedicates debut EP to mom

Dancehall singjay Gevano is looking forward to the release of his debut EP titled Miss Hyacinth's Son.

"This project holds a very special place in my heart, it's my first EP, and I am a dedicating it to my mother, Miss Hyacinth Masters. My mom means the world to me; she is a very wonderful parent," said the artiste.

The EP will feature the following songs Party Straight, In The Streets, The Father Deh Near, Let Me Love You, Never Say Never, Cash Fi Love and Mama.

"There's a song on my EP for everyone; it has party tracks, love songs, and social commentary. I chose to record songs about various topics because I want the EP to appeal to as much people as possible," Gevano revealed. "One of my favourite tracks on the EP is a song called Mama that I recorded specially for my mother."

Miss Hyacinth's Son was produced by Arlene Camenzuli of BAVA Productions and is scheduled to be released on Wednesday, September 30, 2015.

The talented St Catherine native, born Gevionnie Hyatt, is now signed to Canadian-based record label BAVA. Productions.

"I am happy to be working with BAVA. Productions, they are very professional, and they have my best interests at heart. It is really nice to have a good team behind my career, this allows me to fully focus on making music," said Gevano.
