Woman damages car with stone |

Bjorn Burke, STAR Reporter A woman accused of damaging a car belonging to another had her bail extended when she appeared before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday. Charged with malicious destruction of property is Dacia Wright, who pleaded not guilty. Allegations are that the accused woman used a stone to damage the complainant's motor car, banging the car bonnet a number of times. It is said she also scratched the vehicle's bonnet with the stone. Wright vehemently denied carrying out the act. The accused woman had her bail extended by Senior Resident Magistrate Judith Pusey. She returns to court on October 15 for trial. A fingerprint order was also made against her. |
