Vision Newspaper fest for St Ann |

|
Thousands of people are expected to attend the annual Vision Newspaper Reggae Festival at the Lighthouse, Salem, St Ann, on December 5. The event will feature a wide range of artistes such as D'Angel, Ras Bogle, Loyal Flames, Tydal, Lil Hero, P Zed, Zamunda, New Kid, Mikeylous, Dolly Difference, Black Queen, Dadre Cole, Angele Smith, and more. Vision Newspaper is a double award-winning Caribbean Community newspaper from the United Kingdom (UK), operating in Canada with expansion plans to the US and Jamaica. In Canada, where Vision has its headquarters, it is the only Caribbean/black newspaper distributed in subways and train stations in Greater Toronto. Each year, Vision Canada and Vision UK participate in this annual festival. "This is our fourth year doing this festival. It's a way to mend the gap between the Canadian and UK reggae-music culture and the local reggae-music scene," organiser Lucci Gabana said. "Vision Newspaper also uses this as a way to raise funds for community initiatives we are involved with each year like the back-to-school drive that we organise."
