![]() Dann-I Shereita Grizzle, STAR Writer Reggae artiste Dann-I is back on track and ready to move forward following the recent stabbing of his road manager, Adrian 'Prof' Wright. The singer said he was happy that his road manager made a full recovery, despite the severity of his wounds, and he is again ready to return to the musical battlefield. "It is always a great challenge when something happens to a member of your team, especially when it's something so life-threatening as a near-fatal stabbing," he said. "But is just righteousness and the guiding hand of Jah that pulled him through and we are very happy that he has made a full recovery. So the team synergy is back and we gonna keep moving forward." Latest single Dann-I is currently promoting his latest single, Put Another Reggae Pon Top, which is a song advocating to bring reggae back to the forefront. The video that was shot by Simeon Hedge is expected to be released in coming weeks. According to Dann-I, the single is one of his best efforts and has been steadily garnering attention on the local and international scene, especially in Europe and several countries across Africa. Dann-I is also in the studio working on a number of recordings, including a collaborative project with an internationally renowned label, but his team remains tight-lipped about the name of the label. When quizzed, his manager, Ronald 'Sonny Spoon' Wright, said they were unable to elaborate on the project because of certain contractual obligations, but promised all will be revealed in time. Alluding to the international project, Dann-I said, "As my manager stated, I can't say much about that currently, but just know it's something major, and when the time is right, all will be revealed."
