"The entertainment elements that will be injected into the opening games are just the beginning of what persons can expect this schoolboy football season with FLOW," said Stephen Miller, sponsorship manager, FLOW.

"Our new brand is fresh and dynamic and we will be bringing this enhanced energy to the execution of the third year of our sponsorship," he added. "We will also be driving even more innovation into the programme by revolutionising the way that fans are able to access information on their favourite teams and keep updated with match schedules and scores."

The company will also be using the opening event to present its new brand to the city of Montego Bay.

"This is a great opportunity for the new FLOW brand to be introduced in a special way to the people of Montego Bay. We will be pulling out all the stops to ensure that football fans enjoy the opening game as we set the pace for the rest of the season," he said.

At the launch on Thursday, September 3, the annual secondary school football competition was officially renamed the FLOW Schoolboy Football Competition.

Miller also indicated that plans are under way for the staging of the second FLOW/ISSA Super Cup, which promises even more excitement for fans this season. It comprises the top eight teams from the corporate area Manning Cup and rural area daCosta Cup competitions.
