Contract killing?

An operations manager was killed by an unknown assailant in a brazen daylight gun attack, in full view of others, yesterday afternoon along Orange Street in Kingston.

Information reaching THE WEEKEND STAR is that the deceased man, Dolkeith Harriot, was walking along Orange Street, a short distance from where he reportedly worked when he was shot.

The shooting took place at 5:11 p.m.

The gunman escaped on foot in a nearby community, but not before pumping two shots in Harriot's head.

Large crowd

THE WEEKEND STAR gathered that Harriot was employed to MDRM International as the finance and operations manager.

A large crowd converged immediately at the scene following the shooting.

When THE WEEKEND STAR arrived on the scene, numerous onlookers had their camera devices in hand capturing images of the suffering man lying on the surface.

No motive has been established, however, preliminary investigations have ruled out robbery as nothing was taken from the deceased man.

He was rushed to the hospital by the police where he was pronounced dead.

The Kingston Central police are investigating.
