New generation "It's no secret that most of the industry's sound systems and selectors who reigned supreme have been active for at least two decades or more. With the stars of the sport being much older than the new generation of dancehall, there is a gap where mass appeal is concerned. Bearing this generational gap in mind, Irish and Chin have made a commitment to exposure younger talent ... hence, we have US Rumble," said Garfield 'Chin' Bourne. The sounds systems have already begun to level pre-war insults against each other on social media, in the process amplifying the anticipation. Sound Chat Radio will also be hosting Rumble Weekends starting today, leading up to the event. Fans may got to http://www.irishandchin.com for more info. |
