Star Tell Me Pastor

His family took everything

I was living with a man for 19 years. We have two children. When he died, his relatives took everything, even animals purchased for the children.

His nephew came and took them to the district where he was living. H gave them to another relative. His excuse was that his uncle and I were not married, so I did not have any right to them.

However, God gave me life and I am not a lesser person because of what they did to me.

Common-law Wife

Dear Common-law wife,

The nephew of your common-law husband is, indeed, a wicked man. He should not have taken away the animals that your man had bought for the children.

It is a common practice for fathers to purchase animals for their children. It teaches them responsiblity.

Usually, when the animals are mature, they are sold to buy clothes and to help pay school fees, etc.

This relative was greedy. He did not want you to have anything. He is a selfish man.

I commend you for a good spirit. This nephew will not prosper because of what he did.

You are not going to suffer because you have demonstrated you have God in your life and on God you rely.

My prayers are with you. Don't fight to get these animals back. I have a strong feeling the man who took them away will fall on his face, so to speak.

The Bible says, "Anyone who robs the poor will not prosper." God bless you, my dear. These people took everything from you but you will bounce back if you trust in the Lord.
