One firearm and several rounds of ammunition were seized by lawmen during an operation in Cocking Hill, St Catherine, on Sunday.

Reports from the Guys Hill police are that about 9:15 p.m., the lawmen were on an operation in the area when a man was acting in a manner that aroused their suspicion. On the approach of the police, the man allegedly ran. The scene was searched and the Glock pistol and four 9mm cartridges found in a plastic bag.
