Teranchi speaks of 'Rat Inna Parliament'

Having gained acknowledgement as an up-and-coming reggae entertainer, New-York based Teranchi has been steadily building his name on the local and international circuit.

His recent release, Rat Inna Parliament, has been doing well, pushing him closer to his aim of being recognised as a mainstream entertainer.

The song is social commentary taking jabs at Jamaica's government ministries as seen through the eyes of the young entertainer.

"Everyone already knows what the word is on the Jamaican government. Some have mixed views, some have negative views, and others have positive views. Rat Inna Parliament is just a song where we take listeners through a journey of one of the many views," said Teranchi."The reception of the song has been great so far. People from all over have been responding, and people have been calling. I must say that I'm enjoying the attention the song has earned me."

Journey and I Will Find A Way are among Teranchi's earlier releases. Those songs are still doing well as he continues to strive on his musical journey.

Performances

Teranchi has had several performances locally and overseas, earning him new fans with each showing. The Jamaica Constabulary Force's 'Parish Capital Peace Tour', of which he was a part, is among his most memorable moments on stage.

"I've performed in Jamaica at several local events and also at some shows overseas. We're currently looking to confirm more performances in other territories. It's all about spreading the music," he said.
