Reggae artiste Prophecy will be launching his eagerly anticipated EP, A Free Man, on September 19 with a live performance during the popular Keesing Live concerts in St Andrew.

"I am ready, my band is ready, and we are going to give the public an amazing performance," the artiste, born Rohan Brown, said.

The EP will feature songs such as Nothing Never Changeand Make It Happen on the Bear Fruits label, How Could I?on the Reggae Life label and Quality Time on the Yahbell Music label.

"The EP will be available on my website,www.prophecyreggae.com, and iTunes and other downloadable sites. We will be marketing the album in Europe, Africa and the west coast of the US," he said.

It is Prophecy's second album, coming two years after his Grammy-shortlisted Break Loose in 2013. The artiste and his Reggae Life band have remained true to Prophecy's inimitable style of roots rock reggae. He had not been active on the reggae scene for a few months, as he took the time out to complete his EP, to fine-tune his band's sound, and to secure the work permits for the tour. "While other reggae and dancehall artistes have been struggling to gain work permits, I took the time out to put things in place to secure my band with a three-year work permit so that we can better promote this album in the wider marketplace," Prophecy said.

Last week, he shot the video for his single, September's Rain,featuring female artiste Nateesha Stream.

The video was produced and directed by seven members of pop superstar Lady Gaga's production team that flew in from Washington to work with Prophecy.

"The shoot went well, and when this video is released, it's going to impress a lot of people with its quality, plot and scenic shots. Is a different kind of video, love and fun reggae vibes, Billboard material," he said.

He recently performed at IRIE FM's Marcus Garvey Celebration and he graced the stage at Popcaan's back-to-school treat in Dumfries, St Thomas.

After that, Prophecy scored a major hit with No Body Bags, which hit the reggae charts in 17 countries. He also scored well with the remake, Party in Session, featuring Delly Ranx that charted in Italy.
