St Ann Development Company (SADCO) stormed into the semi-finals of the Sandals St Ann/ St Mary Business House football competition with a 5-1 thrashing of high fancied Sandals Royal Plantation on Sunday at Drax Hall playing field.

In the opening match of the double header played at the same venue, four goals from striker Micah Terroade carried Moon Palace to an 8-0 win over Jewels Dunn's River.

In the feature encounter, SADCO and Sandals Royal Plantation had an evenly matched first half, which the winners led by a 1-0 margin. In the second half, however, the floodgates opened and after finding their rhythm, SADCO totally dominated play, coming away with an overwhelming victory.

SADCO now join favourites Couples Tower Isle as the two early qualifiers, setting up a mouth-watering final-round clash of the unbeaten teams.

In Zone 2, North East Regional Health Authority (NERHA) and Gran Bahai Principe are the early leaders and look the most likely semi-finalists.

The competition continues today with a big double header at Drax Hall.

At 4 p.m. Police face Margaritaville, while at 6 p.m. C & J Enterprises go up against Gran Bahai Principe led by top player Devon Ward.
