SVL to increase daily jackpot to $2m

In a move to boost the winnings at the end of the summer season for its Top Draw game players, Supreme Ventures Limited (SVL) will increase the maximum jackpot that can be won in the Top Draw game each day from August 23 to September 5. The Top Draw daily maximum jackpot will be increased to $2 million.

The starting Top Draw jackpot will be doubled for this period, with the 8:30 a.m. jackpot set at $400,000 each day. The Top Draw jackpot will go up by $400,000 after each draw if there is no winner. If there are no winners of the five game draws daily, the jackpot could climb to as high as $2 million for the day.

An elated Sonia Davidson, SVL's vice-president of group corporate communications, spoke about Top Draw's end-of-summer promotion dubbed 'Double De Money A Run'.

"As the promotion period will overlap with that of the IAAF World Championships, our campaign will carry strong graphics of lots of money being won down the track," she said.

Davidson added, "Two million dollars is a tidy sum for a windfall at the end of the summer when players are faced with lots of expenses. SVL decided to give back to our players at this time by giving them the opportunity to win double the normal daily jackpot for each draw while playing Top Draw."

The Top Draw game was launched on June 25 last year and players choose five numbers from a field of 22 numbers (numbers ranging from 1 - 22). The cost of a wager is $50. The lottery draws five numbers, and players matching all five numbers will win the jackpot for the draw. Players who match four and three numbers will also win subsidiary prizes.
