Kurry Stain hits charts with 'Sky Pree' |

![]() Kurry Stain - Contributed Dancehall artiste Kurry Stain has scored his first major chart hit with his breakout single, 'Sky Pree', on the 'Life Support' rhythm, for JA Productions. The song jumped to Number 8 on the FIWI Choice Top-10 charts. "I swear, is a great look, mi phone a blow up every day when the song, a play pon the Life Support. Mi a get a lot of response from Trinidad and Barbados on my Twitter and Facebook pages, and some white youths fly in from Berlin, Germany, to meet me and do some dubplates with me for a 'weed song'. Mi hear say the song even de pon a dancehall chart in Panama," the 21-year-old deejay said. "The song ah play hard on IRIE, ZIP and HITZ, and I am getting more requests for interviews in the media, and the disc jockeys dem just start ask for dubplates, the fans dem a show mi nuff love in the streets, dem say 'Kurry just gwaan dweet'." The video for Sky Pree will be released in the next two weeks. Video shoot "I just shot the last scenes for the video in the studio, so it finish up and ah go edit," he said. Born in St Thomas and raised in Portland in a Christian family, he graduated from Portland High School with four CXC subjects. He relocated to Kingston at age 18 to pursue a musical career. A year ago, he scored big with his breakthrough single, Party Nice, for JA Productions. And Kurry Stain has not looked back since. He has a number of singles such as Smoke Weed and Fly, featuring Supa Hype, Belly So Flat for Khame Up Records, Blow My Mind and Bring Back the Reggae, for Audio Traxx Production.
