Canadian reggae singer Tony Anthony recently concluded a one-month promotional tour of Jamaica. During his visit to the island, he did interviews at a number of TV and radio stations, including TVJ, CVM TV, HITZ 92 FM, RJR 94 FM, HOT 102 FM and KOOL FM. "I had a great time in Jamaica last month, I did a lot of work, while I was there. The response I got from the media was awesome. I also did performances at events that were held at Emancipation Park and at the Spanish Town Prison. It's really nice to get so much love and support from my Jamaican people," he said. Now that he's back in Canada, Tony Anthony is working on a brand-new studio project with fellow reggae artiste/producer Sadiki Buckley of Skinny Bwoy Records. Special project "Sadiki and I are working on special album project. I recorded a song on his 'Sea of Love' rhythm project earlier this year called Friend Zone which did very well in Canada and several other countries. Now we are working on a 12-song album, which will feature a lot of old-school reggae rhythms. So far, we have recorded some very wonderful songs. This project should be ready for release early next year," Tony Anthony said. Tony Anthony is also getting ready to drop a new single, Warning. This hard-hitting reggae track was produced on the Village rhythm that was created by the Fire House Crew band for Reggae Nation Music. "Warning is a wonderful song, it has a very strong message. It's scheduled to be released in October," said Tony Anthony. |
