Veteran comedic entertainer Samuel 'Beekie Bailey' Walker said his career has received some boost that will see 2015 being his best year yet.

The entertainer was discovered on the Sunshine Talent Show by Jamaican actor Carl Bradshaw way back in 1986.

"I was a part of the duo Beekie Bailey and Dugsie Ranks discovered by Mr Bradshaw who declared that we had talent. Although we have taken different paths since, music is still the winner," Beekie Bailey said.

Over the years, Beekie Bailey has recorded songs such as Rasta A Big Gallis, Jah A You Alone and Wifey A Lead.

He told THE WEEKEND STAR that his career has fluctuated since, but he is intent on getting back to his glory days.

"I have even worked with Shocking Vibes, which played a great part in my career. I have been able to work with some great names and now I must recapture that glory," Beekie Bailey said, adding that he has toured with Mad Cobra, Shabba Ranks, Terror Fabulous, Bounty Killer and a host of others artistes.

In an effort to return to the forefront of music Beekle Bailey has recorded a slew of new songs.

"I have recorded Be Thankful, Feel Like A Child and Take My Hand and they are getting rotation on some radio stations. It feels good," said Walker, who is originally from Mountain View, St Andrew.
