Dancehall artiste Zumjay is back on the scene.

He is back with a bang, thrilling a packed nightclub of screaming dancehall fans with his high-energy delivery and solid hit songs last weekend.

He performed on Saturday, August 8, alongside Dexta Daps, at Club Ciboney in Poughkeepsie, New York.

An eager crowd of patrons waited anxiously to hear him. When Zumjay made his entry on stage, at approximately 3 a.m., the crowd roared its approval.

Riding the euphoria of the moment, Zumjay took immediate command of the stage, delivering Zumjay News and Shake It.

Backed by dancehall producers Daseca on the turntables, Zumjay delivered a slew of his earlier hits, taking fans back to the halcyon days of feel-good dancehall club music.

During his performance, he mentioned his military experiences in the Middle East in order to encourage the people.

"Never give up on your dreams, no matter how hard life may seem," he said, before doing the Stephen 'Lenky' Marsden-produced track,In God We Trust, which the audience loved. He showed great maturity and professionalism as he delivered underground hits, Rise It Up and Bad Man.

One of his biggest forwards was his emotional performance of Live On, the crowd singing the chorus. When he left the stage, one fan kept asking him to return to do Courtney, but he didn't.

He is presently working on new music with Billboard chart-topping producer, Marsden. Zumjay has additional performances scheduled,including a major showalongside Bling Dawg in December.
