Reggae Boyz move to 55 in FIFA rankings

Jamaica moved 21 spots in the latest FIFA Coca Cola Men's football ranking released yesterday. Jamaica is now at 55th, up from 76th.

The Jamaica team improved in the August ranking against the backdrop of a second-place finish in the CONCACAF/Scotiabank Gold Cup tournament which ended last month. Jamaica was beaten 3-1 by seven-time champions Mexico in the final in the USA.

Argentina remained the number one team in the world ahead of Belgium, Germany, Colombia and Brazil in the top five positions.
