STILL ON THE RUN

Man accused of slashing common-law wife's throat

André Williams, STAR Writer

Up to late last night, the Brown's Town police said they had not been able to locate a man whose common-law wife was found with her throat slashed in Retreat, St Ann, early Sunday morning.

Information reaching THE STAR is that 21-year-old Shasha-Kaye Williamson of Philadelphia, Brown's Town, had an argument at her establishment with her common-law husband that turned physical.

Reports are that during the heated dispute, the woman was chased to a building where she was stabbed and her throat slashed. She reportedly died on the spot.

THE STAR gathers that Williamson was a past student of the Brown's Town High School and that she shares a child with her common-law husband.

Police say their investigation is ongoing and they desperately need to speak with the common-law husband.
