Yardlink254 releases '254 Degrees' |

Nairobi, Kenya-based label Yardlink254 Records, has released their third official dancehall juggling rhythm titled '254 Degrees', produced by Tony and Rude Bwoy Cartel and composed by Paul 'Jr Beatz' Gibbs. The project was mixed and mastered by DJ Aaron of Hype Masters Entertainment (Kenya), Dinesty King of Falmouth, Dinesty Records (Jamaica) and ZJ Heno of Empire Sounds (Kenya). This is the third project after previous successes with Yardlink rhythm (released in 2012) and Quest rhythm (released In 2014). The Yardlink team wants to place Kenya on the dancehall and reggae map as contributors and not just consumers/listeners. The 254 Degrees dancehall project is a heavy-hitting hardcore rhythm, featuring a diverse line-up of artiste from Jamaica, East Africa, US and Europe. The artistes featured include I-Candy, Esco, Prohgres, A Pass, Shac, Donteh, Jah Torius, Teranchi, ZJ Heno featuring MC Advice, Bramma, Verbal and Lyrical Ill. The rhythm has a nice leading cello melody with underlying crashes and proper kicks to create an energetic dancehall project that has been getting rave reviews since it was premiered on Homeboyz Radio 103.5 FM by ZJ Heno. Homeboyz Radio is a leading radio station in Nairobi, Kenya, famed for playing hits from the dancehall/reggae genre. The Yardlink254 Records team also venturing into reggae soon with the Introspect rhythm releasing very soon, as well as two new dancehall rhythms titled Homegrown - which will only feature Kenyan dancehall artistes and the UFO Mileage - for the hardcore dancehall fans. 254 Degrees is available for purchase on iTunes and can be previewed on YouTube and will be distributed Zojak Worldwide. |
