Ken's Wildflower to host street dance |

Businessman, Lester 'Father Ken' Crooks will tomorrow host his annual Independence Street Dance, sponsored by Wray & Nephew White Overproof Rum at Ken's Wildflower parking lot in Portmore, St Catherine. All are invited and admission is free. Music will be provided by Wildflower sound, Flava Unit, Classique sound system and there will be several and guest selectors. Father Ken, who is the proprietor of Ken's Wildflower Sports Bar and Lounge, said that he expects a large crowd at the venue for the street dance as "over the years, people have looked forward to this event, and this year will be no different". Ken's Wildflower Sports Bar and Lounge has being a part of Portmore's fledgling entertainment business for more than 30 years and has a fan base in a number of parishes in Jamaica and overseas. It is also a meeting place for families, friends and business associates and is used on special occasions to wine and dine, chat, and enjoy the moment. |
