The winner of the2015 Mini Miss Portland contest is Rihanna Headley who blew away the other contestants withher100-watt smile, her eloquent answers and great personality.

"The contest was very successful. All the contestants were very prepared, beautiful and intelligent. They really shined, they were strong in their performances, pleasant in their personalities, especially Rihanna, who was so warm and welcoming, and eloquent in her answers. When I met her, she is so sweet, you feel a fuzziness in your heart when you are around her," entertainer Lady Luscious, who organised the pageant, said.

Prizes

Headley wore the sash of Errol Ellis Jackson Villa. She won a $4,000 cash prize, sponsored by Jannett Scott of Women Ah Run Tings Promotion, Canada; a bicycle, sponsored by Sonia Patterson, the president of Mini Miss Portland; and prize, pack sponsored by Shoppers Drug Mart, Yorkdale and Shoppers Drug Mart on Weston Road and Lawrence Avenue; and T-shirts sponsored by Jannett Scott.

The pageant was held at the Port Antonio Marina.

Lady Luscious is an excellent artiste in her own right, who just released the Dean Fraser-produced See You Later, which she performed at the event. Fourteen-year-old Manesha Persaud, 2015 JAAMM Idol Canada winner, performed a cover of Power Of Love at the event.

Lady Luscious is also the main organiser of JAAMM Idol talent competition in Canada, which has been held the last three years in memory of her daughter Aleisha Ashley and best friend Monique Mcknight, who died tragically several years ago.
