Raytid ready for his big break

Up-and-coming dancehall artiste Raytid has been ready and waiting on the right time, and he thinks it's now. His break-out song, 'Blah Daff', has been generating a huge buzz on social media and the video has racked up over 200,000 views on YouTube.

"Aside from the YouTube views, the video went super viral with over 22 million views on rapper Kirko Bangz's Facebook page. When it was brought to my attention, I was kinda shocked to see the love the video is receiving in the short space of time," said Raytid.

As if that wasn't enough, rap superstars Snoop Dogg and Jermaine Dupri also shared clips of the track on their Instagram page.Hip-hop celebrity gossip page The Shade Room also featured the video, testament to the energy, vibe and the marketing of the single.

Raytid, born Tegana Hemmings, is the first artiste to have been signed to Demarco's production and management company True Gift Entertainment. "His performance on stage is full of energy, he engages the crowd well, with experience you will definitely see the growth. I believe in him that's why I signed him, I want to help him grow at what he does and into a star" Demarco said.

"I performed at Reggae Sumfest with Demarco and at Water Worl last weekend in which I did a very good job based on the response from the people . I feel very blessed to know I performed at one of the greatest reggae and dancehall show on earth at this stage of my career. Big up Demarco, he made it possible," Raytid added.
