Woman accused of destruction of property

A woman accused of damaging another woman's car had her bail extended when she appeared before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court last Thursday.

Charged with malicious destruction of property is 19-year-old Whitley Moore, who pleaded not guilty to the offence.

Allegations are, the accused woman entered the premises where the female complainant resided. The accused reportedly used a stone to damage the complainant's vehicle.

"She pull the gate and come in. She and her mother," the complainant explained.

The reason for Moore's alleged destruction is sketchy. In court, Moore had her bail extended by Resident Magistrate Maxine Ellis. She is to return to court on August 24 for trial. A fingerprint order was also made against her.
