Lil Wayne collab gives JR big buzz

International recording artisteJuniorReidis getting a buzz for his latest collaborative single, 'Murda', alongside hip hop superstar Lil Wayne. The song appears on the rapper's latest album, 'Free Weezy', and has generated 53,000-plus views in one week since its release.

JuniorReidhadpreviously collaborated with Lil Wayne on Ghetto Youths Rock on the JR Productions label and Pom Pom on the Cash Money label.

"Bobby Konders played the song on HOT 97at the weekend. Plus, locally, Foota Hype dropped it at Gallis Wednesdays, Sigar dropped it at Uptown Mondays and Boom Boom levelled the place with it at Boasy Tuesdays. Every mixtape artiste is linking me for the track," he said.

The track kicks off withJuniorReid's signature vocals. Other rappers featured on the track are Corey Gunz and Capo, a 22-year-old rapper associated with Chief Keef's Glo Gang, who was shot dead in Chicago on July 11, a week after the record was released.

"All the major hip hop mixtape sites have the song up. Lil Wayne has been the hottest rapper for a long time, and I feel great to be on a track with him.JuniorReidis hot and banging right now, plus I will be shooting the video in New York with Weezy next week," he said.

The 15-track compilation features guest appearances from Wiz Khalifa, Young Jeezy,JuniorReidand Capo. It's streaming exclusively at TIDAL, of which Lil Wayne is a co-owner.

Reid made his name as a roots-reggae singer with hits isuch as Original Foreign Mind, Babylon and the 1989 unity anthem, One Blood.
