Nicki Minaj has blasted her ex-boyfriend Safaree Samuels for "misleading" her fans.

The 34-year-old producer, Safaree, hit back at his ex-girlfriend's current boyfriend Meek Mill by insisting the Feeling Myself rapper still regularly contacts him, which angered the star who later replied on Twitter.

He cryptically tweeted: "Show him the email you sent me on my birthday. If we're not 2gthr u shouldn't be questioning me about old shit at all. thats not moving on. (sic)"

However, the Anaconda hitmaker hit back at Safaree - who split from her last year after 14 years together - insisting her current beau knows all about their occasional conversations, accusing him of "misleading" her fans.

She wrote: "He knows when u hit me. He sees the entire convo so don't purposely try to be misleading. That's corny if it's true. Wish u the best. (sic)"

The outburst comes just a day after rapper Meek Mill criticised Safaree for letting Nicki dance provocatively with male dancers while they were together, also mocking his dance moves.

He tweeted: "This nSB was twerking mannnnnnnn....i always thought u was gay letting Ya girl do all that with ns while yall where together! Lol (sic)."

The argument follows a turbulent 24 hours for the pair, with Nicki rowing with fellow musician Taylor Swift about her nominations for the MTV VMAs and Meek controversially stating one of Nicki's other ex-boyfriends doesn't write his own raps.
