Social media lit up last night as tweets and posts relating to the #GoldCupFinal began trending at Number 4 about 7:24 p.m.

Under the watchful eyes of THE STAR, our news team took note of some of the tweets making the rounds during the exciting encounter between Mexico and the Reggae Boyz, which saw the Mexicans emerging 3-1 victors.

These tweets were made after Jamaica went down 1-0 at half-time; when the Boyz were down 2-0 and 3-0; when the score turned 3-1, and after the final whistle.
