Shifta brings 'do you wanna' remix to ja

Jamaica-born artiste Shifta has returned to the island this summer to showcase his brand-new remix to his already popular song 'Do You Wanna'.

The single, which already featured Japan-based sensation Che'Nelle, has received great international attention since its fall 2014 release. In the United States, the single was added on radio playlists, as the first reggae song in rotation for 2015, on popular pop stations 103.5 The Beat, and 99 Jamz fm.

In Jamaica, the single has received attention and topped the Hype TV Video Top Ten (VTX) Chart.

With the remix of the single featuring American rapper Red Café now officially released, Shifta is sure the single will gain new legs for summer 2015.

The CEO for Timeless Entertainment, Rasheed Ali, had been considering artiste options for the remix and was set on finding the right person to compliment the track. The team believes Bad Boy Recording artiste Red Café to be that voice.

"Based on his style of music and creativity, we really felt that he would be a perfect fit for the song. Not to mention his Caribbean descent," Ali shared.

Red Café has a billboard chart song, Fly Together, featuring Ryan Leslie and Rick Ross and is gearing up to release his album in 2015. The Guyana-born New York-based rapper may be known in Jamaica by his popular collaboration with fellow rapper Fabolous I'm Ill, in 2010.

While in the island, Shifta will be premiering another summer single, Came To Party, the European collaboration with French artistes Mystikal Kut and Black Kent. Shifta considers this single a real summer song and an advance into the French market.
