Chi Ching Ching to perform at Rumbar Aquaholic

Dancehall fans are bracing for an adrenaline-filled event called Rumbar Aquaholic, which will hit the Great Bay Beach in St Elizabeth on July 26.

Rising dancehall star Chi Ching Ching, who is riding high with Way Up Stay Up, will be the main performer on a night of high-energy music by a team of four sound systems - Target Systems, DJ Kentucky, Hot Cash and Crawbi.

"The event starts 2 p.m. and goes until midnight. Drinks will be free all day and all night. This is the first in the series which will be held every other month," said Alanso McKoy, organiser of the event.

"We have gone all out with the promotion, radio ads, flyers and billboards and everyone is really pumped up to see Chi Ching Ching perform. He is going well on the dancehall scene and he has promised a performance to remember."

Admission for the event will be $1,000.

Ching recently scored his biggest hit so far with Way Up Stay Up that features Beenie Man. His collaboration with Popcaan, Nah Go Home, is currently enjoying good response. He also has plans to release his debut EP that will feature songs like Kickout and Coob Dem Up.
