Pillion dies in motor vehicle accident |

|
Twenty-one-year-old Steven Jones, a shopkeeper of West End, Negril, Westmoreland, died as a result of injuries he received in a motor vehicle accident on the Spring Hill main road in the parish on Monday. Reports from the Negril police are that about 7 p.m., Jones was a pillion on a motor cycle when it is alleged that the driver lost control while negotiating a corner and slid under a truck that was being driven in the opposite direction. They were taken to hospital where Jones died and the other man treated and released. Investigations continue. |
