Do I love my man more than the Lord? |

Dear Pastor, I am 24 years old and I am a Christian. I have a boyfriend. He is divorced. He pays my rent and the car that I drive is really his. Although he bought it in my name, he makes the payment on it. He comes from a nice family but sometimes I feel that I should give up everything to serve the Lord, because he is much older than I am and he says that he is not getting married again. I want to get married and at least have a child, and I want to do so before I get old. I have never cheated on him. He is such a darling. He knows how to take care of a woman. Most of my earnings I save. Although I am working he gives me an allowance. My girlfriends say that I am very fortunate and I shouldn't let this man out of my sight. If I leave him I would have to give up the car and pay my own rent, and I could not afford this rent on my own. Please give me your advice. K.S Dear K.S., You say that you are a Christian but you are having a relationship with a man who provides everything for you, and you love him very much. You would have to decide whether you love the Lord more than this man or what he is giving you. Perhaps this man might agree to continue to assist you without insisting that you continue to have an intimate relationship with him. You should talk to him about it. Pastor
