Digicel launches 'Mega Money Summer' promotion with concert

Digicel pulled a massive crowd outside the Half-Way Tree Transport Centre with the launch of its exciting 'Mega Money Summer' promotion, featuring dancehall phenomenon, Ding Dong.

Led by vivacious brand ambassador, Miss Kitty, thousands of passers-by stayed glued to the Digicel stage, trying to get their hands on giveaways of smartphones, credit and cash prizes.

With top acts from the Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall, Tripple A leading the way, persons could be seen lining the streets to take in performances.

Singing popular hits like Shampoo and Syvah, Ding Dong and Ravers Clavers put on an energetic performance and were joined by Miss Kitty, who took the opportunity to show off a few of her own signature steps.

The hit of the night, however, was Digicel's catchy new jingle performed by Ding Dong, on the Digicel 'What a Summer' rhythm, which had patrons dancing up a storm.

This was followed by Beenie Man, who took to the stage with an arsenal of summer hits, including Let's Go and Summer is Here, much to the delight of the crowd.

"Digicel really come nice up the Friday evening, mi nah lie," said Clive 'Modeler' Harriott, a snack vendor.

"We'll also be giving away spot prizes of vouchers to Burger King, Tastee and Mother's. So we will definitely be bringing fun, energy and value to all our customers across Jamaica with Mega Money."

The concert was the culmination of Digicel's Mega Money Summer road show, which had travelled from Mandeville to May Pen earlier that day.
