Dear pastor,

I love my girlfriend to the ground she walks on, but her mother really needs a man. She watches me and always wants to use whatever we buy for the house, and she hides whatever she bought seven days per week. She buys tinned mackerel. That's her way of life, but whenever we cook pork or chicken she would just eat and watch. When her daughter asks her for money to contribute to buying food she tells her that she is lucky. She doesn't have a man, that's why she doesn't want her daughter to have one either. No matter what she puts me through I am not leaving her daughter.

Dear Son-in-law,

Your mother-in-law should be living in her own home and paying her own bills. She is prepared to eat you dry. She is unreasonable and uncooperative. She is not kind either. Basically, she is very selfish. She is not the type of woman you should have living with you and sharing common facilities.
