Armed with one of the hottest songs for summer, dancehall artiste Raytid continues to break new ground on the international scene.

The deejay is featured in June's edition of Birdie magazine. He is set to make his official debut on African television with the video for his female anthem, Blah Daff.

The video will premiere on Cape Town Television's 'Ekse Show', a programme made for youths, using content provided by them. The show, aired during the week, is made up of interviews, music videos and short films.

Reacting to the news, Raytid said, "This is great and, definitely a step in the right direction for my career. Right now, Blah Daff is one of the hottest and most-played songs in Jamaica, and so this African-television premiere just confirms that the music is getting out there and going places. Lastly, I want to say a big thank you to Cape Town TV and all my fans across the globe. Look out for great things from Raytid."

Cape Town TV, known as CTV, is a non-profit, community-based television station aimed at the greater Cape Town metropolitan area.

Meanwhile, Raytid has released another single, Raytid Say, produced by Blaqk Sheep Music. He is also promoting tracks like You A Mi Baby and Wuk Wuk.
