Two men pleaded guilty to knowingly possessing identity information when they appeared before the St Elizabeth Circuit Court yesterday. They are: 20-year-old Triston Tomlinson, auto mechanic and 21-year-old Domar Robinson, farmer, both of Bigwoods in Darliston, Westmoreland. Reports are that on Thursday, January 2, 2014, about 10 a.m., members of the St Elizabeth Proactive Investigation Unit (PIU) were on patrol along High Street in Black River in the parish, when they observed two men acting suspiciously. Both men were accosted and found to possess identity information of persons living in the United States of America. They were subsequently arrested and charged. The court has ordered a social enquiry report and sentencing is set for Friday, June 26. This brings the total number of convictions in the parish by the St Elizabeth PIU to 15. |
