Tasha T wins Best Caribbean Style award

Reggae singer Tasha T recently won the Best Caribbean Style award at the Canadian Black Awards, June 6, at the prestigious Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Toronto, Canada.

"It's a great honour to win such a prestigious Canadian award. I have to give thanks to the Most High, my fans, my family, RasVibe Records, VP Records and all the people who are supporting my career," said the artiste.

The talented beauty was also nominated in the Juno Awards earlier this year. She is grateful for the recognition of her work by the Black Canadian Awards.

"I feel really good that such a prestigious organisation has recognised the work that I am doing with my music. Like I said before, winning this award is truly an honour," she added.

The Black Canadian Awards ceremony is held annually to celebrate and showcase the achievements of Black Canadian artistes, trailblazers and leaders in Canada.

Tasha T is in England promoting her Real Talk album.

"I'm having a wonderful time promoting my album in England. So far, I've done a lot of interviews and public appearances. The response I am getting is tremendous, I'm here for two weeks. when I'm finished, I will be heading to Europe," she revealed

Also on the cards for Tasha T is the release of a number of new singles including, Wonderful World on the 'Village' rhythm, produced by Ralston Barrett.
