Launch of 'the dream' this sunday

Doing it 'Special' with an inaugural all-white cooler launch party, Appleton Special Dream Weekend will officially be under way this Sunday at the Waterfront, downtown Kingston.

Appleton Special Dream Weekend is set to take over Negril from Wednesday, August 5 to Sunday, August 9, and this Sunday's all-white themed cooler fête will give patrons a taste of what is to come as Rum Rules Paradise.

Commencing at 4 p.m., partygoers will be treated to musical selections from Flava Unit, Coppershot, Chromatic and DJ Nicco as well as high-energy performances from a host of celebrities. A 'Special' unveiling will also take place during the launch.

Tamika West, marketing manager for dark spirits at J Wray and Nephew Limited, said: "Appleton Special strives to constantly give our loyal consumers unique experiences. At the cooler party launch, patrons will get a first-hand taste of how we plan to rule the summer".

Entry is free with invitation, a bottle of Appleton Special and all-white attire. Supporters without invitations can also attend at a cost of $2,000 with a bottle of Appleton Special and all-white attire. Invitations can be picked up at over 20 locations in Kingston & Portmore including Cuddyz, Ribbiz, Tracks & Records, Texaco Barbican, Shimmer, Grandeur and Upper Cut, Liguanea.
