Canadian based Jamaican roots singer/musician and dub poet Michael St George is getting a lot of praises and commendations for the recently released music video for the his single 'Life is Special'.

The track is from his latest album Fight your Fears or Die. Shot at various locations across Jamaica, the video is crisp and affirming and beautifully complements the roots reggae sound of the track.

Now living in Hamilton, Ontario, Michael St George is an internationally acclaimed artiste and educator working mainly in music and performance poetry, as well as doing pioneering work in youth and community development.

Originally from Portland, he also spent much of his formative years in August Town and is very keen on giving back to the communities that nurtured him.

He is founder of TAP [the Turn Around Project for Arts] - a youth empowerment initiative that brings young people from Jamaica and Canada together to share skills and experiences and foster growth through creative endeavours.

The video is already racking up many views on YouTube and other social-media platforms and will soon be made available to local television stations.
