Jah Cure slated for Beer Wendzdays tonight

Beer Wendzdays Live returns bigger and better. The series is the brainchild of brewing giant Red Stripe. It started last October.

Since its inception, the event has grown over time with the support from fans mounting with each staging.

Performances from Beenie Man, No-Maddz, Kalado, Tifa, Mystikal Revolution, DBurnz, Dexta Daps, Delus, I Wayne and Richie Spice, just to name a few, have all been big acts on Beer Wendzdays Live.

Tonight, White Bones Seafood Restaurant, St Andrew, is the location for the next big event and will feature the talented Jah Cure.

Marsha Lumley, market transformation manager, Red Stripe, is excited about the next installment.

"You can expect an amazing event, as we have a lot in store for the patrons. You will be able to try the new Red Stripe flavour for the summer, Lemon Paradise, while listening to the soulful, golden voice of Jah Cure," Lumley said.

Jah Cure is excited about his performance as he spoke on what can be expected from him.

"Everybody know say wid Jah Cure I'm all for conscious music. I do what I love and I love what I do. I take pride and joy in doing good music, soulful reggae music and reach out to everyone. Am just gonna do my best, sing my best hits that I have up to my latest release, and I will definitely sing two songs from the album, of course," said Jah Cure.

Showtime is 9 p.m. and the DBurnz band will be back, once more, to deliver the usual high-energy performance. The event will also be hosted by Jade of Zip FM.

Admission is $1,500 with beer specials running all night. The first 10 groups of four to enter the venue will receive a free platter of wings and a one-litre Red Stripe.
