Newly formed sound system Di Unit will have its much anticipated launch party at Famous Nightclub in Portmore, St Catherine on June 25. The party will be hosted by Nicky Z. Di Unit comprises of Dave 'Tallman' Scott and disc jocks Badda Bling and Likkle Rich.

According to Di Unit's spokesman, Tallman, also known as 'Tall Boss', there is a buzz on the street about his sound's launch, and bookings this summer has been "great".

"We (Di Unit) are fully booked for the entire summer. We have been sitting pretty since parting ways with another sound system," he said.

Badda Bling and Likkle Rich along with Tall Boss are working to take their musical careers to a higher level. Tall Boss added: "All are invited to the launch party. A lot of industry players will be in the house to support us in our new venture. We are promoting our brand. Di Unit is entertainment beyond the ordinary."

He said Di Unit will be avoiding sound clashes until next summer. He continued: "We have to be cutting a lot of new and old dubs, daily."
