Fiction Fantasy Nightclub to celebrate anniversary

A year after being under new ownership, Fiction Fantasy Nightclub will celebrate its first anniversary this weekend.

Located at Marketplace, Constant Spring Road, Fiction Fantasy Nightclub, now owned and operated by the David Annakie-led Linkup Media Group of Companies, will celebrate its one-year anniversaryon Friday June 19 and Saturday June 20.A number of prominent local and international Fiction Fantasy friends are to join in on the celebration activities.

According to Annakie,"Fiction Fantasy has been doing well and we intend to do even better. it's been a good year. We are very keen on cementing Fiction Fantasy as the best cosmopolitan nightclub experience in Jamaica and the Caribbean. Further yet, our continuing to attract local and international music and sports celebrities to our club is quickly positioning us as such."

Celebrations will kick off with a pre-anniversary Party on Friday with Major Hype, Kevin Crown and DJ Nicco headlining. On Saturday, the VIP black card partygoes from 9 p.m.to midnight, with a general party following at the same venue.

The initial purchase of Fiction Nightclub was in the first quarter of 2014, when Annakie bought 60 per cent of the entity from the KLE Group. In the last quarter of 2014, Annakie bought out the remaining 40 per cent, making him sole owner of Fiction Nightlife Entertainment.

Following its change in ownership, international celebrities including Busta Rhymes, Trey Songz, Ashanti and Tyson Beckford have made appearances at Fiction Fantasy Nightclub.
