Entertainer Jason 'Black Kush' McNeish is on a musical revolution to get his piece of the musical landscape.

He said his new releases, including She Want Me, Summer Sun and Uncut Diamond, are getting good rotation on radio stations locally, which is encouraging.

"I have a collaboration titled Mouth with veteran artiste Ginney Pepper, plus my album, Can't Stop the fire, is to be released in July," Kush told TheStar.

The former Tacius Golding High student started his musical journey 20 years ago by performing for his schoolmates at lunch time.

"There is still a whole lot for me to give musically, and I am determined to do my part to make it work," said Kush, who is managed by Zion Yard Records in Old Harbour, St Catherine.

"I have changed my name from Iration to Black Kush and i am doing music with renewed vigour."

Black Kush continues to be inspired by Sizzla, Capleton and Bob Marley. He told The Star that he knows nothing other than the art of reggae music and will continue to write positive lyrics for all to enjoy.
