Reggae artiste G-Mac returned to the island recently after a successful two-month European tour.

The artiste embarked on a fourth solo tour since his introduction to the music industry under the guidance of Sizzla Kalonji.

G-Mac said being on tour opened his eyes as it relates to the popularity of his music in Europe.

"The experience lets me feel a lot better and is very encouraging to continue to do music. It is a totally different market from the Jamaican market. they know your music word for word, and they follow you on social media. Every year, the experience has been fruitful, and people have been turning out to the events," he told THE STAR.

G-Mac said not only was the tour a huge success, but he also performed songs unpopular to the Jamaican market.

"I have been working with a lot of European producers, and they have been promoting my music in Europe, so people are familiar with my stuff. Trust me, it is a great feeling to be singing songs and the people are chanting along with you word for word," he said.

The 'G-Mac taking Over Europe Tour' will continue in 2016. The artiste is promoting singles Pam Pam Pam for Italian producer Kalibandulo; Leave Me Alone, produced by Bizzari Records, also based in Italy; and a collaboration with Karl Dawkins, Satisfaction.

"I am working consistently. I recently released a video for a song called I Wanna and the video features a cameo from Wycilffe Jean. That video was filmed in France. I also have dancehall songs promoting produced by Dancehall Rulers from Germany," he told THE STAR.

G-Mac recently released his debut album, which is being distributed by VP Records. The reggae act is doing his own productions, Royalty Records, as well as Kalonji Music productions.

The artiste also collaborated with Ken Boothe for a remix of the single Everything I Own.
