FLOW announces new channel line-up |
|||||
Cable provider FLOW has announced a new channel line-up as it takes steps to remove certain international listings that were being illegally broadcasted. Last month, the Broadcasting Commission (BCJ) announced a May 31 deadline for cable companies to remove all illegal channels from their line-up. However, the Office of the Prime Minister intervened and the BCJ subsequently extended that deadline by three months. In an advisory on the weekend, FLOW said, starting today, 13 major channels including those of the Encore, STARZ, Showtime and Movie channel families will no longer be carried. However, FLOW says it will introduce a suite of new Fox Movies services. The company says this will include nine premium movie channels. FLOW says all its customers will enjoy a one month free preview of the Fox Movies package. |
