Juju Royal rocks Mello Vibes<

There was hardly any standing room at Mas Camp as patrons danced the night away to the retro experience at Mello Vibes.

When THE STAR arrived in the wee hours of the morning, DJ Denvo was on the turntables and had the audience dancing up a storm with soca selections such as Ragga Ragga and Tiney Winey by Byron Lee and the Dragonaires and Togetherness by Square One.

He later switched up the juggling to play songs such as Hey Mickey, Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go and Footloose.

He made way for Juju Royal, who had the crowd in a frenzy. He catered to the females with selections such as Gal Inna Bungle, Stab Up The Meat and If Him Lef.

The men were also not left out with songs such as Greetings, Who The Cap Fit and Here I Come. At 3 a.m., patrons showed no intent of leaving the venue, and Juju Royal kept the vibe going by whipping up some soca selections.

When patrons weren't skipping around the venue in a soca train, they were jumping and waving their rags or gyrating while the DJ cheered them on.

Following that segment, they went for dancehall selections, which encouraged companionship among partners.

As it neared 4 a.m., audience members were reminded that it was Sunday morning, as the deejay played some remixed dancehall tunes including Elephant Man's Too Badmind and Beenie Man's Gospel Time.

Audience members grudgingly began leaving the venue with many remarking that they had enjoyed the night.
