Courtney Morris releases singles from new album

Veteran reggae artiste Courtney Morris is gearing up to release songs from his new album. According to the artiste, he has spent the past few years working on his career and he feels the time is right to amp up promotions for his projects.

In a release to The STAR, Morris explained that even though the songs have been recorded for a while, he wanted to wait for the right time to release them.

"My plans are to release new tracks from the upcoming album. Two thousand and fourteen has been a new journey and a very exciting one, working together with my new team, marketing my music career."

The artiste is currently promoting his cover version of the song I've Got to Be Me, which tells the story about a man who focused on finding himself, while at the same time trying to rise above the stumbling blocks presented by life.

The artiste has been working with Shamalki Roots Production and says he is using social media to propel his career to a younger audience.

"At this time, I am concentrating on my cover version of I Got to Be Me. The reception has been pretty good; however, the biggest difficulty with breaking into the music business is to find the right people to work with," he continued.

"I am bringing more positivity, upliftment and motivational music to the industry, and I am working towards a brighter and better future so that the unfortunate youth can have more quality of life and a promising tomorrow," Morris said.
